Just like every life is unique, so is every therapist and counselor. I strongly encourage you to treat finding someone to talk to like finding someone to date. Try a free consultation or a first session, to get to know them to see if you would be able to build rapport and trust. With that in mind, I'm so incredibly excited and honored you've landed here. I think it's important for you to know a little more about who I am and how I approach helping my clients.
I've been working with non-profits and individuals for the past 13 years with a focused mantra at the forefront: Your Whole Story Matters. As for my credentials, I have a Masters in Counseling as well as certificates from Yale, Wharton, & Columbia. I was also honored to receive my Life Coaching certification from International Coaching Federation.
I approach sessions through the lens of healing. I too have gone through heartache, trauma, depression, anxiety, and hardships. I create a sacred space for clients to know this is all about them and that the person sitting in session with them (me), comes from a place of understanding what it means to find yourself in the trenches of life.
People are a collection of experiences, moments, relationships, and dreams. We are far more than one thing so when my clients come into their sessions, I ask them to invite their whole self: the good and what they call the bad. The light and the dark. All of it is welcome. All of it should be cared for.
I would love the chance to meet you, to hear your story, and to help you work towards healing.
